Meet the Band

Seth is the oldest member and leader of our family band.  At 22, he has placed in the top five of the Texas Banjo Championship and is always introducing the band to new ideas.  He has a knack for being able to play just about any instrument he can get his hands on, much to the chagrin of the other band members.   He’s currently working as a mechanic at Faulkner’s Air Shop in Burnet.

Lisa, 20, mainly contributes fiddle and vocals to the band. She keeps up with the band’s online presence and keeps track of the money.  When she’s not making music, she stays busy keeping books for the family lawncare business, taking pictures, and helping out around the farm.

Mark is 18, the heartbeat of Algerita Hill, Mark and his bass keep this band down on the ground.  He’s the only one of the band that didn’t get to pick his instrument, poor guy.  Thankfully, he doesn’t seem to mind.  A recent high school graduate, he is excited to be growing a videography business with Paul.  With todo list in hand he stays busy audio & video editing, projects around the farm and helping Dad in the lawncare business.

Paul, 16, the “little guy on the end,” is not quite so little anymore.  At home on the mandolin, he is also great at the guitar and keeps the rest of the band on their toes with his spontaneous improvisation. He keeps himself out of trouble by helping Mark out in their videography business, mowing lawns for the family business, doing school work, and working on the farm (while listening to CCM).
